    I've been there, and let me tell you, putting down my dog, Jessie, a beautiful Lab mix, was pretty much the hardest thing I had to go through.

    In her last moments, I cried "thank you" over and over again to her. She's now buried in my backyard.

    I had to put my Lady down the other year. she was labradore cross lurcher & was jet black .She was with me for 15 years which I will always cherrish . I found her living rough and I was extremely poorley and was ready to die and we saved each others lives . Although if I am honest Lady saved my life really as I never got the urge to end it all after that day . I still have her at home with me as she was cremated. Having her put to sleep was the hardest thing I have ever done and haunts me every day but the alternative was going through last stages of liver faliure . That couldnt happen and Lady new in her last month as she lived like a queen eating pure white fish , mince , steak and chicken she was loved . So sorry for your loss dude …
