Dragons celebrate after four years. The party is blue and white: FC Porto is the new national champion! On Saturday, the Dragons hosted and defeated Alverca 1-0 at the Estádio do Dragão, securing the 2025/26 Liga Portugal Betclic title. With two matchdays remaining, Francesco Farioli’s side has 85 points, nine ahead of second-placed Benfica and 12 clear of third-placed Sporting (who have a game in hand). This ends a three-season drought without a league title, last winning in 2021/22. Since then, Benfica won once, and Sporting claimed back-to-back championships. This is FC Porto’s 31st league title, moving them ten ahead of Sporting (21) and seven behind Benfica (38). This year, the celebration is blue and white!
