Russia national football team coach Nikolai Pisarev has stated that Zenit St. Petersburg will win the Russian Premier League title. Speaking on the program “All on Match!” on Match TV, Pisarev dismissed any chance of an upset, saying, “Miracles happen in football, but this is probably not one of those cases. Zenit will be champions.”
Zenit leads the league table with 65 points from 29 matches, two points clear of second-placed Krasnodar. In the final round of the RPL season on May 17, Krasnodar will host Orenburg at home, while Zenit will face Rostov on the road.
