On Tuesday, Atlético Madrid’s sporting director, Mateu Alemany, spoke to the media ahead of the team’s match against Osasuna, addressing the squad’s current situation, potential departures, and the challenge of replacing Antoine Griezmann.
Regarding goalkeeper Juan Musso, Alemany praised his contributions: “Musso has proven he deserves to be a key figure in our squad. His performances every time he steps on the pitch have been outstanding.”
When asked about the team’s objectives for the remainder of the season, Alemany stated: “The players must defend the honor of the club. As members of Atlético, giving everything to win every match is part of our professional duty.”

On the subject of potential player exits, Alemany acknowledged ongoing speculation: “Rumors have been around all season. Quality players will always attract interest from other clubs, and the talk never stops. Our core approach is to reinforce the squad, which means we must retain the good players we already have.
